The Silk Road is a hybrid live-action and animated short film that blends both mediums into a single visual narrative. The project brought together a multidisciplinary team spanning pre-production, production, animation, and post-production, with more than ten animators collaborating alongside a larger crew to realize its ambitious vision.

Produced within demanding budgetary and production constraints, the film required close coordination across every stage of the creative process—from concept development and live-action production to animation direction and final post-production. The film was awarded the Special Jury Prize at the Mumbai International Film Festival.
