“Imagine Virginia” — Orientation Theater Film

Imagine Virginia is an immersive 17-minute orientation film created for the museum’s Lettie Pate Evans Orientation Theater. Combining historical imagery, voices, music, sound design, animation, and theatrical effects, the film traces the natural and socioeconomic forces that have shaped Virginia’s history and culture. Designed as the starting point for a museum visit, it introduces audiences to the Commonwealth’s complex story and invites them to explore its people, places, and defining moments throughout the museum’s exhibitions.
